About Us
MISSION
Murmuration Theatre Company is an independent arts collaborative dedicated to discovering and investing in new theatrical talent — from emerging playwrights, to unrepresented actors, to early-stage and visionary directors, to early-career technical and production staff.
Theatre is an enormously impactful tool for change; Murmuration is dedicated to regularly producing work that unpacks issues of social and/or political relevance. We encourage our creative teams to expand the impact of productions beyond the stage.
VISION
Murmuration looks forward to a future where creative expression is more broadly accessible, and where arts organizations use performance as a tool for community education and community good.
By marrying accessibility, empathy, and education, Murmuration hopes to empower our artists and our audiences to go into the world and be better to each other.
